Our time in Langkawi flew by and soon enough it was time to fly out. We arrived in Kuala Lumpur with no trouble and found ourselves a place to sleep.
Unfortunattely all of our rest and relaxation that we had in Langkawi quickly ended in KL. It was a much nicer city than Bangkok but in the end it was still a city. A city that made me tired.
We didn’t seem to accomplish much of anything duringbour stay there. My camera broke our first morning and we spent the rest of the day attempting to get it fixed. At the end of the day we were no farther ahead and the camera is still spitting out errors. I seem to be able to take pictures most of the time though.
The second day we headed out to Batu Caves. It’s an important Hindu holy place with a temple inside a massive cave. The whole place was littered with monkeys more than willing to take any leftovers you may have made the mistake of bringing in. The monkeys terrified me chasing people for their food. Especially after I realized how big their fangs were.
KL’s greatest quality was the very good and clean street food. The shopping was pretty good as well.
