This is a diary entry I received today from my middle school student:

I have heard strange sound 삥니 since a month so I can’t concentrate on anything. The bigger this sound, the later. I worried. If I can’t heard anything so I visited to dotor last Tuesday. The doctor surrounded my ears. And then he says. ‘It may be caused by Ear rice.’ The doctor digs my earhole. One hour later that sound was disappeared and I can put my mind.

It makes me worry I’ll get ear rice too. I don’t want anyone digging my earhole!

Ear rice eh? I wonder what medical training you need to be a doctor in Korea…perhaps a good understanding of the Joy of Cooking??
