A few weekens ago we’ve started what we hope is a bit of an ongoing game. Bus hopping. Here’s how it works:
Find your nearest bus stop (this may be difficult if you are playing in Charlottetown) and get on the first bus that you don’t know. After you ride the bus for a while so you are a decent distance from your house the entire group places a quick round of rock paper scissors. The winner then gets to choose how many door openings will happen before everyone gets off the bus. When the time comes everyone hops off the bus and waits for the next bus to arrive.
Ideally, at the end of the game you will have ridden one of every bus number (ie 100,200,300 etc.) but sometimes this doesn’t work out so well. We were moderately successful with our first attempt. While we didn’t get quite as lost as we had hoped we did get to see some very different parts of the city that aren’t part of our regular day.
I’ve posted some pictures from our adventures. You can look for more bus hopping adventures on here sometime in the near future. Some variations we’ve decided to try include, following a korean and scavenger hunting. Any suggestions are welcome.
Fun! knowing me if I were to try that here, I would end up in spryfield stranded with no busses passing by
