Halloween
As most of you should know, I love love love Halloween. This year we celebrated with a few first timers. We even played “guess the body part” to the tune of scary music.

This past Tuesday the Hagwons in Ulsan closed for a strike. We took the opportunity to visit the pebble beach. Wow. It was an awesome afternoon, we’ll definitely be revisiting this gem.

The Busan Fireworks Festival was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen. They put off over 85,000 fireworks in about 45 minutes. That’s almost 2000 a minute. We shared the experience with about 3 million people.

We spent a Sunday afternoon in Grand Park. We met a lovely Canadian who bbq’d us some chili dogs, knew where Peter Pan was and gave us free beer. After lunch we rode tandem bikes through the park.

We celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving with 4 chickens and our South African family. This is one of the best Thanksgivings I’ve ever had.

It was Janelie’s birthday this past week. We went out Friday night to celebrate in typical Korean fashion at the Norae-bong. On Saturday we headed to Busan Tower.

Our long weekend in Tokyo was definitely the best time I’ve had so far in Asia. I’m in love.
