Nighttime in Ulsan
Johann and I have spent the last couple of weeks wandering around Ulsan after hours. These are some of my attempts at nighttime photography. We visited the Taehwa Rotary, Ulgi Park, Nammok Mountain and Baek Young Sa.

This last weekend we traveled back to the west coast to attend MudFest. It’s pretty much what you’re thinking, an excuse to roll around in the mud! One of the highlights of our time here in Korea.

Our good friend Ellie invited all of us over for our first home cooked samgyeopsal meal. We were able to cook outside and her mom prepared all of the traditional side dishes. The food was great and we were able to finish off the meal with a walk to nearby Ilsan beach.

We took a trip in June to the west coast. Our first trip to that side of Korea, and surprisingly it was much different. Mokpo was a beautiful city with some great views and clean air. We stopped first in Boseong to check out the tea plantations before heading to Mokpo for the rest of the weekend

Korea was taken over by World Cup Fever for the last month. We were lucky enough to see all 4 games. The first one at a friend of ours, Amy. The second at the school with all the students. The third one at Kayla and Marietjie’s at the unfortunate hour of 330am. And the final, and best, in Songjeong at our favourite pub Blowfish

Hey – which beach is this – and where exactly is it located in Korea????
Songjeong, it’s in Busan. There is a train stop that goes there, but only a few times a day. Otherwise it’s an easy cab ride from Haeundae maybe 5-6000W. You can just ask the cab driver to take you to Songjeong BaDa (Bada is beach). The beach is just a little north from Haeundae.
Awesome! Thanks Brynn – Looks like a nice beach. I’ve only been to Haeundae – this one looks like a good one to try next 😉
