Red beans are the sneakiest beans known to Korea.  You will find red bean paste cleverly hidden inside many local delights.  You think you’re buying a doughnut or similar delicacy but you’re really buying a not so tasty bean treat.  Red bean in fish, red bean in nuts, red bean in everything.  Even if you’ve had a similar type of food across town without the bean paste you may find it inside another vendor’s wares.  Proceed with caution, every seemingly tasty bite may contain a red bean surprise.  Buyer beware!
