For most people one of the most annoying things you can think of is email spam. Searching through all of the spam in your email inbox to find the real messages from coworkers, friends and family can be pretty time consuming. Well, here in Korea they’ve got something even better. Door spam! It sticks to your door and occasionally gets in the way of your keyhole. Having your arms full and then coming home to find a pile of door spam can be even more annoying than email spam.

What kinds of things are they advertising?
Not entirely sure seeing as we can’t read it. Some of it is from restaurants and other chain stores. I think it’s the same as our flyers, but instead of all coming at once in a bundle they come individually and get taped to your door.
I’d get a student to write up a “NO POSTERS” sign. have you guys ran into stories of “fan death” yet?
That would be a good idea. Brynn can actually write in Korean, so she could make up a sign. Yes we have heard the ‘fan death’ stories. The fans here all have timers on them so you don’t have to leave them on all night. On the box in the store there is also a warning about the possibility of fan death.
